ReverbNation’s FanReach™ Fan Management System Now Available to Bands on Myspace

Application empowers Myspace Artists to better communicate with fans, and allows fans to join Artists’ proprietary mailing list

(Durham, NC – December 16th, 2010) ReverbNation, the leading Marketing and Promotion Platform for over 1,000,000 Musicians, Labels, Managers and Venues, has announced a deep integration with Myspace Music that extends Reverb’s world-class Fan Relationship Management application, FanReach™, to every Myspace Artist directly within their Myspace tool set.

New Tools For Artists From Myspace Music

Artists who use the FanReach™system, whether within the Myspace environment or the ReverbNation environment, can now send html messages out to their proprietary mailing list and to all of their ‘friends’ on Myspace simultaneously.  In addition, Myspace Artists can easily add a ‘join our mailing list’ module directly onto their Myspace profile.

“Our mission is to empower Artists to grow, nurture, and maintain their fan relationships,” said Mike Doernberg, chief executive officer of ReverbNation.  “The integration of FanReach™into the fabric of Myspace will help Artists maximize the relationships they are cultivating at Myspace, and to convert some of those ‘friends’ into proprietary relationships in their own email database.   The Artists’ Myspace profiles just became a lot more valuable to them.”

The FanReach™ application is free to all Artists, configured the same way whether accessed from within Myspace or ReverbNation, with a premium version offered to Artists who want to tap into a library of pre-made templates, use their own custom html, or who have more than 500 fans on their mailing list.

The partnership between Myspace and ReverbNation reflects the shared goal of delivering more value to the Artist community that each company serves.  Courtney Holt, President of Myspace Music, said “Our goal was simple, to provide artists with the best fan relationship management tool. We partnered with ReverbNation to bring their market-leading FanReach application to our platform.”

Definitely a smart move from Myspace … I hope they paid you a lot for this. And I am in the finance world as well as the music world. I know this is worth a lot more to myspace than reverbnation. I am a lot more inclined to keep using my myspace now … Thanks!!!

Just tried to sign up for your site ten or more times but it wouldn’t accept my birthday. I also find my birthday fairly unacceptable as I get closer to fifty but thaqt is not the point. Something somewhere in the process to sign up from the UK is being tricky and more than a little annoying. Shame cos looks good. Would still like to sign up and don’t mind typing my birthday again. Just not over and over again for no apparent reason…. got better things to with my time before I hit fifty!!! Cheers.

Hands down this is a very great business app for artists. Hopefully the kinks with integrating with Myspace will be fixed. Maybe a deal with FB will work too.

  • Chase Tyler Band - February 14, 2011 reply

It’s a nice feature, but everytime we send an email, Myspace puts a block on our account for spamming.
