Band Profile Gets Social, and Join the Mailing List with Facebook

At ReverbNation we release new features rapidly in order to meet  the needs of today’s musician.  Sometimes, we’re working so fast, that we don’t take the time to stop and tell you about the new features on your site. Today, we start a series of posts designed to keep you updated on the latest updates to your site.

1.  Band Profile Facebook App Gets a Social Module

A few weeks ago we updated our Band Profile App with some major upgrades. This week, we added a new module called ‘Social’ to the App. This module lets you show your fans the wall from your Facebook page, your Twitter feed, and a basic Facebook comments box.  Take a look by viewing your Band Profile App.

2. Join the Mailing List with Facebook

ReverbNation is the first company to offer mailing list signup through Facebook. Facebook users can now join a band mailing list with just 2 clicks, and with 66% of U.S. internet having Facebook account that’s a huge number of potential fans.  Of course anyone without a Facebook account can just enter an email address too, but the benefits of jointing through Facebook are huge. With Facebook you get better Fan Demographics, and your fans will have a much smoother signup process. It’s a win-win, and we’re excited to be the first company out there offering this service for bands.

Being a musician, it’s not that easy for me to stay up to date, what I mean is that I constantly look for a site that will cater all of what I’ll ever need. My search was over when I found out this site. I am one happy and satisfied fan of RN and I’m so proud of it!
