Snowsports Soundtrack: Play a Mountain Top Resort Near You

by Shelly on December 7, 2011 · Comments

Ready for a high-altitude, amped up opportunity to find new fans and mingle with competitive skiers and snowboarders? Check out the Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam. Now in its fifth year, this nationally touring, grassroots snow sport competition couples live music, art, fashion, technology and culture every Saturday throughout the winter months at some of the most desirable mountains in the States.

Audiences are big and they’re stoked to find new music from indie artists. The center of attention? A 20′x20′ on-snow stage showcasing the bands that power the enthusiasm of the rail jam competition and intermissions — how cool is that?!

The added extra? Every stage is sponsored by Amped-4-A-Cure, a non-profit that is supporting cancer research through music and you could be there to help spread the Amped message.

Eight mountains, eight Saturdays, take your pick and submit today. Click on the opportunity (or opportunities!) that you want to play.

    Hey Jim and Teflon —

Great that you’re excited about the opportunity. All you need to do is pick the one(s) you want to submit to, click and you’ll find all the details. Basically though you’ll need to make sure your Reverb Press Kit is ready to go and at it’s best. Of course, submission to the opportunities in no way guarantees acceptance, but it does guarantee that you will be reviewed for a chance to be selected.

  7. Shelly says:

Thanks Jimmy — but what I really want to know is can you play music and ski at the same time?
