Butterflies Radio Accepting Submissions for Independent Music

by Mariana on February 17, 2012 · Comments

Butterflies Radio joined forces with ReverbNation to accept submissions for independent artists across a wide range of genres, including Hip-Hop, Rap, Country, Jazz and Electronic. If you want to expose your music to a worldwide audience, this is your chance! And when we say world, we mean it: people tune in from Dubai to China, the U.S. to Egypt, Indonesia to all over Europe and South America.

“Our goal is to get independent musicians heard,” says Mark Lamdanski, co-founder of Butterflies Radio. “We’re not in this to make money. We don’t sell advertising…this is a labor of love.”

Submit your tunes now! This free opportunity runs until May 31st.

If you’re selected to have one of your songs on Butterflies, you could also be invited to be a guest on their weekly live show! Twitter Tuesday Live is broadcast live every Tuesday night at 8pm EST and features the latest music added to their rotation. Each week the hosts invite one of the artists to join them for an informal interview and they play three songs from the guest during the show.

“We [founders Mark and Carol Riordan] pay special attention to every single guest that comes to the show,” Mark says. ”The passion that Carol and I have in what we do is what sets us apart.”
