Wow, remix opportunities are proving to be a huge success with independent artists! In case you missed, Slip-N-Slide Records just announced the winner to the Mike Bless remix competition (read blog post about it here)! And the winner is Grench, a 18-year-old producer from Fairborn, Ohio, who added a dope progressive trance spin to Mike Bless’ “Gone.” Wanna be the first to listen? Hit play >>>

If you missed out on that remix opportunity, fret not! The cool people at Slip-N-Slide are hosting another remix competition, this time for their rap newcomer Swazy Baby. The 21-year-old, now signed with the Slip-N-Slide Records All Star Team, is destined to nothing short of long term success.

Prize: The winning remix will be featured on all official Slip-N-Slide Records’ social media outlets including Swazy Baby’s Facebook page. In addition, the winner will get a free consultation with Slip-N-Slide A&R and automatic entry into the 2012 “Who Hotter Than Me?” Competition. Click here for more info on how to get started on this free opportunity!

The track you’ll remix, “On Fire,”  is hot and features vocals from ReverbNation artist ANCA, winner of “Who Hotter Than Me?” Competition last year. Take a look at Swazy Baby’s video for his other track, “Yeen 100,” for a taste of his sounds and if you dig what you hear, download the stems, get spinning, and submit it. After all, IT’S FREE! Click here to download and get started.
