Promote It Now Lets Artists Compare Their Results to Their Genre Peers

One of the biggest challenges of advertising your music and shows online is understanding how well your ad campaign is doing, regardless if you promote with Google AdWords, Facebook Ads or ReverbNation’s Promote It.  Most advertising platforms report how many impressions and clicks you get and Promote It also reports the actions fans take on your landing page.  But until now, artists still didn’t know if their campaign results were good or bad.

We have updated the Promote It campaign results so that artists can directly compare their results with the peers in their genre. For example, a metal artist that is promoting a new song can see that he is getting 14% more fan interactions than other metal artists. When an artist falls below their genre average, Promote It provides actionable feedback for the artist to improve the results of their next campaign.

“I’ve been advertising on Facebook for years now, with no real way to gauge my results,” said Brian Hazard of Color Theory, an electronic artist and music promotion blogger. “With this update, Promote It lets me compare my numbers with other electronic acts. It’s nice to see how I stack up, but more importantly, it’s going to help me run more effective campaigns.”

Promote It now provides a complete set of tools to run optimal Facebook ad campaigns. Artists are no longer blindly buying online ads and hoping something works. Promote It makes sure they have the necessary information to succeed with their promotions.
