63 ReverbNation Artists Make Top 100 “Artists On The Verge” Chart

The New Music Seminar (NMS) presents the ‘Artist On The Verge’ – Top 100 Chart, the most comprehensive chart for emerging talent. Put together by NMS to promote artists picking up steam, the Chart aims to help them get the national recognition they deserve.

The Nominations

The AOV project is a closed project for nominated artists only (NMS does not take unsolicited artist submissions). This year’s nominations came from the biggest names in the industry including iHeartRadio, SoundExchange, BMI, Pandora, Spotify, eMusic, Next Big Sound, Musicmetric, SESAC, OurStage, and many more. Oh yeah, and ReverbNation too! Unlike other charts that only address social media metrics, AOV researches multiple aspects of the artists’ careers: from music quality, to tour history, radio play, uniqueness of videos and current press coverage.

The Big Winners

‘Artist On The Verge’ exposes the Top 100 selected artists to influential media, tech and music industry executives at the New Music Seminar on June 17-19 in NYC. Three lucky artists will be selected from the 1000+ nominees to showcase at NMS where they’ll be critiqued by a panel of industry experts. The grand prize winner from this showcase — selected through live SMS voting by the NMS attendees on Tuesday, June 19th at Webster Hall — will walk away with over $200,000 in consultations, promotion, marketing and music equipment.

Intrigued by New Music Seminar? Want to mingle and learn from industry innovators in NYC June 17-19?  We’ll be there and would love to see you.
