2015 is only hours away so we went around the office and asked a few employees about their Artists First resolutions. Of course, as a company we’re focused on helping to advance Artists’ careers. And we’ll have a lot to share on that in the coming months. But for now, take a look at what’s on the mind of a few ReverbNation staffers as midnight approaches.
“In 2015, I want to understand more about who uses our platform and how. To do so, I’m learning MYSQL — a coding language that’s used to search our databases. Then I’ll be able to uncover things quickly and independently.” — Glenn, Director of Product Management
“2015 is the year that I want to break out of my musical comfort zone and tune my Spotify to a different genre each week.” — Jen, VP of Business Operations and Strategy
“In 2015 I want to be more organized so I can be more productive (maybe de-clutter my desk?) and learn to code in Ruby so I can better diagnose problems and write automation.” — Jenny, Quality Assurance
“I always strive to innovate and distribute our infrastructure so that our services are available to Artists whenever they need them — in 2015 I’ll be working even harder to do that and further solidify the reliability for which ReverbNation is known.” — Andrew, DevOps IT Specialist
“In 2015 I’m really looking forward to photographing and filming more Artists and sharing the results with our fans and theirs.” — Mike, Video Creative Director
“My resolution is to go to a performance by a ReverbNation Artist at least once per month throughout 2015.” — Lauren, Finance & Administration
“I want to learn testing automation tools so that we catch ALL THE BUGS!” — Cheri, Quality Assurance
“Internally I want to facilitate and cultivate new and cool opportunities for Artists to showcase their songs and talent. As a side note: I’m all about art, so one of my new year’s resolutions is to make time to draw and paint. That’s my passion!” — Erin, Project Manager
