With a performance at Austin, TX’s Psych Fest under their belt and an upcoming show at the Desert Stars Festival in September, Amerikan Bear have been hard at work after their nomination as “Best Rock Band” by the San Diego Music Awards committee.
Autograf (Chicago, IL) — Dance
Autograf was recently featured in both NYLON magazine and Max Mag, while their remix of “For The Love” by Griz went to number one on the Hype Machine charts. They’ll spend the rest of the year playing major electronic festivals throughout the country, including Splash House and Northern Lights.
Henry Hall (New York, NY) — Indie Alternative
Henry Hall’s music has been frequently featured in YouTube star Casey Neistat’s videos (which are seen by Casey’s nearly one million subscribers), and he recently performed his song “Wyoming” for an intimate session at Sofar New York.
The Electric Sons (Atlanta, GA) — Electronic Pop
Electro-Pop duo The Electric Sons debuted their track “Into The Night” on EARMILK in anticipation of the release of their upcoming EP, Golden Age. They were also featured by Red Bull with the release of their Chromaesthesia Remixes release.
Wolvereen (New York, NY) — Indie Pop
After announcing a new lineup, New York City’s Wolvereen premiered their song “Seventeen” on Paper Magazine. They were also listed an “artist of the week” on The ShortList magazine.
Jackie Venson (Austin, TX) — Blues/Alternative
After winning the 2014 Belk Southern Musician Showcase, blues guitarist and songwriter Jackie Venson has been steadily spreading her sound outside her home base of Austin, TX. She’s received praise from Guitar World Magazine, Popdose, and Joonbug, and she’ll be heading out on a national tour that includes several venues across New York City.
Hidden Hospitals (Chicago, IL) — Indie Rock
